Welcome

A natural disaster is a major adverse event resulting from natural processes of the Earth; examples include floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, tsunamis, and other geologic processes.

A natural disaster can cause loss of life or property damage, and typically leaves some economic damage in its wake, the severity of which depends on the affected population's resilience, or ability to recover and also on the infrastructure available

In the wake of the recent Typhoon disasters in the Philippines, Projects is calling for volunteers to help with valuable typhoon recovery work.

To help the neighbourhood areas that have been affected by Typhoon or after a major earthquake or other emergency, fire, police and other emergency response agencies may be overburdened and may not be able to reach your community immediately as we see under major typhoons like Haiyan so can it take days before help are coming.

The idea behind this page is to try to organize the neighbourhood's to help them self in groups, to help there neighbours in a disaster situation, like in a typhoon, earthquake, house fire or some other major disaster or accident.

Plus to have some exercises. Like

  • If you need to leave your home see to that all in the family know where your meeting place are and that they stay there.
  • How to evacuate your home and where you evacuate to.
  • To hold fire drills both individually and the whole neighbourhood
  • Set up rescue groups that have there own aria. Like first aid, fire fighting, security, and so on see what you need.

You will find much information about disasters and how to deal whit them and how to have the best chance to survive.
